   The Hot Springs Arts and Film Institute  announces the 4th Annual Hot Springs International Horror Film Festival (HSHFF). HSHFF is set to bring together filmmakers, fans, and film proffesionals for a fright-festive weekend packed full of films from all over the world.  From killer shorts, to full-length feasts of terror. Films from the horror, sci-fi, thriller and fantasy genres will all be represented.
  
   A cinematic celebration that deftly merges extraordinary screenings, educational opportunities, celebrity appearances, and all of the natural scenic beauty that has come to characterize Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. Industry professionals will be on-hand for HSHFF’s exciting festivities, allowing up-and-coming talents to develop valuable relationships with folks “in the know.”

    A slew of competitive categories—including Horror, Thriller, Science Fiction and Student Films—promise a diverse range of intriguing and spooky material during this festival. "Top Festival Films" have a chance at a Direct Project Presentation to Film & TV Executives and Financiers." Discounts for local hotels and businesses will be offered to participating filmmakers and qualifying guests. 

   This 4-day event unfolds at the Central Theater in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Host to insidious indie films, blood spattered scream queens, and inspiring film spook shops. The theater is one of the oldest in the United States, Hot Springs National Park, also known as the “SPA CITY” hosts famous "Bathhouse Row” with Museums, Art Galleries Gift Shops and more all within walking distance from festival activities and is well worth a visit!

   The Festival’s Director Bill Volland ("The Arrival", "Deadly Desire", "Silk Stalking’s") will oversee the gore-fest, while Arkansas Native and Co-Director and Hostess Tamara Glynn (Samantha from “Halloween 5” and “Freddy’s Nightmares”) will be on hand to welcome visitors and special guests.

   The festival will include film submissions from around the globe as well as panel discussions, a film competition, filmmaker reception, and Q&A sessions with a variety of film industry professionals.
